In response to the MCO Extension announced by the Malaysia Government, we have put together a MCO Extension Edition of our GuruCares Initiative, that are available immediately to you till 30 June 2020.

General

I heard PG has introduced a suite of MCO Extension Measures for agents. What is this about?

In response to agents’ feedback and the MCO Extension announced by the Malaysia Government, we have put together an MCO Extension Edition of our GuruCares Initiative. This is aimed at providing you with a peace of mind as we tide through this period of business disruption together. Available immediately till 30 June 2020, this set of measures are an add-on to the PropertyGuru GuruCares Initiative announced on 1st Apr 2020.

They consist of:

60 Days Validity Extension for Previously Purchased Ad Credits expiring between 18 Mar – 30 June 2020

Who is eligible for this measure?

Agents whose previously purchased Ad Credits are expiring between 18 Mar – 30 June 2020. Previously purchased Ad Credits refer to credits you’ve purchased on top of your subscription.

How does this work?

Previously purchased Ad Credits that are expiring between 18 Mar – 30 June 2020 will receive a 60 days extension in batches following schedule below. You will receive an SMS notification from us once the extension has been completed.

How do you calculate my Ad Credits’ new expiry date?

It is calculated based on “Date of Validity Extension” + 60 days.

How would I know if my Ad Credits’ expiry date has been extended?

You will receive a SMS notification from us once the expiry date has been extended. Alternatively, you may check for their new expiry date via AgentNet, under ‘Account’ -> ‘Ad Credits’.

How many of my Ad Credits will be extended?

This is dependent on the number of previously purchased Ad Credits that is remaining on the day of expiry. For example, if your previously purchased Ad Credits is due to expire on 28 Apr, 2020, the extension will be given to the remaining credits left at the end of that day (23:59hrs).

Why is the 60 days extension provided to Ad Credits with expiry date between 18 Mar – 30 June 2020 only?

This period is selected in conjunction with the government’s MCO period, whereby 18 March was the 1st day of MCO. Instead of cutting off the selection date on the last day of CMCO 9 June 2020, we’ve extended it to 30 June 2020.

For example, currently you’re subscribing to the Standard package. You are eligible for this measure if you renew to Advance or Premium package before your previous package expires.

My account is expiring after Jun 2020, can I renew now to enjoy this measure?

This measure is valid until 30 June 2020. Your account is not due for renewal if it expires after 30 June 2020.

What if I had renewed my account later and missed the scheduled batch of Ad Credits extension which is based on the account expiry date?

If you had missed your scheduled batch of Ad Credits extension, rest assured that you’ll be added to the next available schedule for the Ad Credits extension. You will receive a SMS notification from us once the extension is completed.

Your initiative is benefiting a group of agents only. What about those agents whose accounts are expiring from Jul 2020 onwards?

We are aware that the COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly, and we will track closely whether these measures provide the relief we hope they do. Be assured that we will continue to evaluate further solutions and are ready to give you the best support we can into the future.

Why is Ad Credits extension given to agents who renew their accounts only, but not to everyone with an active subscription?

Agents whose account expiry that are around the MCO period are most impacted by the business activity disruption brought about by the government's strict safety measure, and we hope to support them.

For agents with account expiry further away from the MCO period, fortunately, there is at least 3 more months for you to utilise the Ad Credits in your package before it expires. We are aware that the situation is rapidly changing, rest assure that we are continuously on a lookout and ready to do more to help into the future.

Why is the 60 days Ad Credits extension provided only for renewals between 18 Mar - 30 June, 2020?

This period is selected in conjunction with the government’s MCO period, whereby 18 March was the 1st day of MCO. Instead of cutting off the selection date on the last day of CMCO 9 June 2020, we’ve extended it to 30 June 2020.
